Gallo-Roman bronze scallop shell-shaped dish
 

   

 

 

   Rare bronze scallop shell-shaped dish. Interesting example of hammering-made bronze vessel.

   Found during excavations in the castle of Cossigny (Seine et Marne, France) in 1827.

   Restoration. A tiny hole in the bottom of the cup.
