Roman Marble Relief of a Draped Woman
 

 

 

   Roman relief in white marble carved with an elegant feminine figure draped in chiton and himation,
   her right arm pointing to her neck or shoulder, and her left arm holding a pouring vessel.

   The drapery is highlighted by concentric circular folds, V-folds and tubular folds,
   while the figure stands in contraposto with her right leg advancing slightly.

   Visible lacks, unrestored. The back sawed on the top. Perhaps part of a stele.
   Mounted on a marble stand.
